About the Hollow
Foxglove Hollow is hidden deep in the East Shroud. It's on no map, nor is it in the history books. This is a wonderful land where everything seems peaceful and at ease. Or so they claim!While wandering the woods, looking for items to forage, a lucky Viera happened upon the Hollow. Happy to show itself to one with a pure heart, Miss Anastasia breached through and found a place that seemed too good to be true. With each mushroom picked and each flower plucked, a new one would perfectly grow in its place.She peered around the strange and empty village. The houses stood perfectly still and clean, as if someone had been taking care of them this entire time. Yet, not a single soul could be heard or seen. She peered through each window, the houses seeming completely empty and full of dust. With a careful sigh, Anya picked a random cottage and headed inside. As the door opened, the cottage flourished with life. Decorations to her exact taste plopping in place and becoming her perfect home... as if she was meant to be here.Anastasia took this as a sign! This would be the perfect place for odd ones like herself to call home. Now she discreetly travels to find individuals to help her solve the mystery of Foxglove Hollow. How was it formed? Who controls the place? What mysteries does this place hold? Only time will tell!However, do be warned! This village is protected by a strange magic. Those with pure intentions are welcome to enter and live their lives peacefully. However, if any wishes to enter with impure intentions (whether to hurt the village or its people), they will find themselves quickly zapped into something horrible! You best watch yourselves my dears!
Getting Started
You are walking through a town, maybe even a small village, or a city! Wherever you are, you stumble upon a strange letter, pinned on a hidden pillar. The parchment is rather cutesy, adorned with dark brown ink.
At first, you think it's just another advertisement. Yet the entire thing looks strange from start to finish.
The letter reads:Looking for Mushrooms?Hello! You don't know me but if you have the right outlook... you may find something unexpected and completely beautiful!In the far East Shroud lives a magical place. If you're brave enough to venture through and watch the sylphs, you just find what you're looking for!However, if the way you breach through is with brawn and not brains... you will not find what you seek!Good luck, and maybe we shall meet soon enough!Sincerely,

Some may call her the Founder of Foxglove Hollow, but she detests the term as she didn't build the place herself. If anything, she thinks of herself as its protector and looks to the stars for their guidance. You are welcome to come to her for any questions, needs, or concerns! She'll be happy to help!

I've had Foxglove Hollow as an idea for a long time now. I've always loved Fae lore on top of high/dark fantasy. So why not combine all of my favorite things into one big happy place?
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!I truly just wanted a place where magical characters could all come together! I love the idea of a village full of witches, potion makers/alchemists, spirit guiders, faeries, etc.! Even simple people who just want a quiet, yet interesting place, to live "off the grid" are completely welcome!While I don't want the FFXIV lore bending to go TOO CRAZY... some is just fine!! You are welcome to get creative with your characters and have a blast! Just please don't come in claiming you are a god, an ascian, and the like. Thank you for your understanding!If you have a question that can't be answered here, please check out our discord and look around! You can even poke an admin for help!Disclaimer: I didn't want to put this in, but I shall as I feel like it'll be asked about eventually... AI images of any kind are NOT allowed! As an artist, seeing AI images/writing/etc. is incredibly disrespectful. You will get a warning for the first offense, but afterwards I will take more drastic measures if needed.

Be so serious right now. 🙄 I hate that I have to specify this, but clearly some people do not understand! If you are having an issue with a member pestering you like this, please let a mod know ASAP!
Regarding Mods: I'm not here to police your mod usage. Feel free to be creative and have fun with your characters! I just ask that if you join our syncshell and come to our events, to not do anything that could make people crash or lag their games! (For example: Being 20 feet tall, using crazy VFX stuff, using NSFW animations, etc. etc.) Again, what you do in your free time is none of my business, but please be respectful of those around you! Players do have the right to pause you if they don't like what they see/their PC can't handle all of you!
No means no! Once again, do not make players uncomfortable and respect their decisions! If they tell you no, you must respect that and move on! Do NOT pressure them to comply. If someone is bothering you, please let a mod know!
No god-modding/meta gaming/backseating/etc. Your character does NOT have the solution to every single problem and has every tool at their disposal. We're meant to work together and make our own fun!
